I have learnt that you have to be very sharp when doing road blocks in anti poach, you have to have a strategic plan. but overall it was nice the task

limpopo tour

When I first heard that we going on a limpop tour i was very excited and couldnt wait for the tour. The day finally came and we went on the tour, we first went to Polokwane to buy some snacks, then we continued with the the tour and went to a place called Bochum. Here we learned about the history of the place we then went to see the Bushmen and Northern Sotho painting and we also the lurthern church that was built in the 1800's. After we continued with our tour to Mapungubwe National Park and World Heritage Site thats where we slept for the night. The following morning as we were going to venda unfortunetly we had a car accident and that cause me not to finish the tour which was very sad

Bela-Bela Township tour

This was trully a great experience the day was fully of laughter and sadness. First I learned alot of things about the town I also the first houses that were built at the township and saw the children dancing traditional dances. What was sad was seeing the orphanges, this was really painfull to see children suffering like that. I have now offered to go and help at that centre when I have time and just spend time with them even if its just to play.

Game ranging Coarse

I have started with the Game Range Coarse this has been intersting its something new that i haven't done before but still i am enjoying myself. hope will be like this till we finish

Marakele National Park

WOW what a great experience. We left Sondela to visit Marakele National Park. on the way there we past Thabazimbi which i hv neva been to, i saw beautiful montians there and I loved it very much. Marakele is a wonderful place that shows the beauty of South African biodiversity. Even though we didn't see much animal not even one of the big 5. I was also amazed by how big the Park is,it is 63000 hectares. The Park has wonderful mountains. I must say this was one of my best days ever in my life. Thank You Sondela for making that happen.

South Africa diversty

This week we have been learning about the South African diversty, this has trully been an experience. I learned about the different cultures, religions, traditions of the people of south Africa I also learned about the different industries that South Africa has eg. mining and the agriculture. South Africa has alot to offer to tourist who visit the different tourist destination.

Girrafe Capturing

This was a very good experience for me, I had a chance of a life time and it was trully a wonderfull day, Although it was not easy capturing the Girrafes it was also fun. I never thought i would one day have the opportunity to Capture game but thanks to Sondela I did so

FIRST AID COURSE

IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE TO DO THE FIRST AID COURSE, I NOW KNOW HOW TO HELP AN INJURIED PERSON I ALSO KNOW HOW TO DO THE CPR, WE ALSO DID THEORY ON THE HUMAN BODY I DIDN'T NOW MUCH BECAUSE I DIDN'T DO BIOLOGY AT SCHOOL BUT ATLEAST NOW I KNOW MORE ABOUT THE HUMAN BODY

chef Edward did cooking practicals with us to help us with our cooking skills, I must say this was a challenge for all the students to cook at the same time, even though it was a challenge we made it a success and it was very fun. The cooking practicals also helped us as we practised teamwork.

BELA-BELA TOUR

The bela-bela tour was so much fun. I have being here for almost 6 months now but never knew anything about Bela-Bela. The tour thought me that this was a great place to be at. Bela-Bela has so much history and interesting things to know about. The one thing that really suprised me was the blockhouse, the house has being there since the 1800 and that was interesting to know. The forever resort is such a beautifull tourist attraction that tourist would enjoy being at, it also has so much history that a person would find interesting.

Provincial tourist guiding

This is the course i enjoy the most. Its the best course,its the best because we now get to know more about the different place in Limpopo. We get to know the history, culture believes, township ,tourist attractions and all the interesting things and facts about the different places. All this knowledge that we learn about the places makes us know more about our country and heritage. This makes us more proudly south africans. It is also nice that we get to visit the different places to physical see them

fire fight course

Ooh boy what a course. This was the most interesting thing i did in my life. I thought fire fighting was very easy but I was very wrong its one of a job to do. Its not as easy as a person would thing. This course also made me appreciated all the fire fighters who put their lifes indanger to rescue lifes and homes. Atleast someday i will also help to stop a fire or rescue homes and lifes. This was trully a nice course to do.

THE BUSH

I LOVE BEING IN THE BUSH BUT DON'T WHEN ITS TOOO MUCH HOT. WHEN I AM IN THE BUSH I FEEL MORE CLOSER TO NATURE WHICH IS AWESOME FOR ME, AND THAT MAKES ME APPRECIATE NATURE MORE.

WILDLIFE CENTRE VISIT

THE WILDLIFE CENTRE VISIT WAS INTERESTING AS MARNO EXPLAINED TO US MORE ABOUT THE WILDLIFE CENTRE AND ALL THE LAWS AND LEGISLATION THAT THE CENTRE HAS TO FOLLOW. I NEVER THOUGHT THAT THE CENTRE HAS TO FOLLOW SO MANY LAWS.

WORKING ON WEEKENDS

WORKING ON WEEKENDS IS GOOD BECAUSE WE GET EXPRIENCE IN WORKING AT A NATURE RESERVE, ALSO BECAUSE WE CAN DO GAME DRIVES WHICH IS NICE. SOMETIMES A PERSON IS VERY TIRED TO WORK BUT WE HAVE TO WORK BECAUSE IS FOR OUR OWN GOOD

Captive animal care

The captive animal course was a very nice course to do, it was lots of work to do but we managed to finish it. i leaarned alot about the laws and legislation aboout the captive animal care, I didn't like but it was very interesting and i now know more about captive animal care

Parents day

Parents was really a nice day.We all got to meet our parents, for me it was really special cuase it was extra special for me because i hadn't seen my parents in a long time . my parents were proud of me when i took them for a walk. This was a very special day

TAMBUKI

THIS WAS AN EXPERIENCE OF A LIFE TIME, FIRST WALK FOR ALMOST 7 HOURS , PLUS AFTER THAT WE GOT LOST WHICH MADE US WALK A FEW EXTRA MILES. I WAS VERY TIREDTHAN WE WERE TOLD TO GO FOR A WALK. THAN THE NIGHT CAME, HAHA, WE HAD TO SLEEP OUTSIDE, I WAS SO SCARED I HAVE NEVER SLEPT OUTSIDE BEFORE. I COULDN'T SLEEP I WOKE UP EVERY 2 HOUR TO SEE IF EVERYTHING IS OK. BUT THE EXPERIENCE WAS NOT THAT BAD AS THE DAYS WENT I GOT USED TO IT. BUT NEVER IN MY LIFE I WILL SLEEP OUTSIDE

TRIP TO JHB AND PRETORIA

THIS WAS AN EXCITNG DAY FOR ME, THE TRIP WAS GOOD AND I ENJOYED MYSELF. THE PART THAT I ENJOYED THE MOST WAS AT THE PLANETRIUM, I LEARNED MORE ABOUT THE STARS AND THE PLANETS WHICH WAS SOMETHING I NEVER KHEW.

DON'T LIKE SNAKES

SNAKES.HMMMMM, I DON'T LIKE, I HAVE NEVER LIKED SNAKES AND I DON'T THINK I WILL EVER LIKE THEM,IT WAS VERY INTERESTING TO LEANER ABOUT THEM THEY ARE UNIQUE REPTILES.

WHEN WE STARTED WITH THE NATURE CONSERVATION COURSE I WAS VERY EXCITED AS I CAME HERE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT NATURE. TO BE HONEST I DIDN'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT NATURE, BUT NOW I CAN SAY I NOW KNOW MORE ABOUT NATURE. THIS CAUSE LEARNED ME MANY THINGS,FOR EXAMPLE APPRECIATING NATURE AND ALSO TAKING CARE OF NATURE. I LEARNED ABOUT ECOLOGY, TREES,GRASSES,MAMMALS,SNAKES, WEATHER AND CLIMAX AND MANY MORE
